The Taylor R-0008-A Total Alkalinity Indicator is a 0.75 oz dropper bottle of liquid reagent formulated for use with Taylor test kits to deliver precise total alkalinity measurements in pool and spa water. Monitoring total alkalinity is critical for maintaining stable pH levels and shielding pool surfaces and equipment from damage caused by chemical imbalances. For reliable test results, store this reagent at consistent temperatures between 36F and 85F, away from direct sunlight exposure. Taylor formulates its reagents to perform reliably for a minimum of one year under appropriate storage conditions. Replacing this reagent annually or at the start of each new swimming season is strongly recommended for the most accurate readings.
