Description
The Hayward Valve Seat Gasket (SPX0715D) is the OEM replacement sealing gasket for Hayward VariFlo side-mount, top-mount, and XL control valve assemblies.
This gasket seats at the valve body to maintain a pressure-tight seal between the valve rotor and housing. Replacing a worn or damaged seat gasket restores proper sealing, preventing bypass and ensuring accurate flow direction through filter, backwash, rinse, and waste positions.

When replacing the valve seat gasket, inspect the rotor and valve body contact surfaces for scoring or pitting before reassembly. A new gasket on a damaged seating surface will not seal reliably. Shut off the pump and relieve system pressure completely before disassembling the valve.
