Description
The DON-JO FBRCPC is a blank filler plate with a prime coat finish, designed to cover unused or legacy cutouts in door preps and hardware locations. It installs flush against the door face or edge to close off mortise pockets, prep holes, or other recesses left behind after hardware changes or upgrades. Measuring 1 inch wide by 3.875 inches long, this compact plate is a straightforward solution for door technicians and locksmiths working on door hardware transitions. The prime coat finish accepts paint for a clean, finished appearance on steel or wood doors.
This filler plate is used in residential and light commercial door hardware applications where existing door preps need to be covered after lock, latch, or deadbolt hardware has been removed or replaced. It is sold individually and is well-suited for service calls where a single prep location needs to be closed out cleanly. Door hardware installers, locksmiths, and general contractors commonly stock this type of plate for finish work and remediation jobs.
