Working in tandem with an internal bypass, the thermal regulator controls water flow through the heat exchanger to achieve and hold the proper outlet temperature. The heater’s operator control panel board assembly sits atop the unit for convenient access. This all-inclusive kit is purpose-engineered for Pentair Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm pool and spa heaters and is equally compatible with Pentair MasterTemp pool and spa heater models, providing a drop-in replacement with all necessary hardware included.
