The HydroQuip 26-2001-7S-K hot tub heater is designed for use with Cal Spa XL built-in flow-thru design. The unit is equipped with a centered insulation wrap. While the original Cal Spa 2550-2001 had the element wrapped externally on the manifold – the new updated HydroQuip element is installed internally for safety purposes.
